Cool CBX

In addition to the standard Cargobox, an extremely attractive temperature controlled version is under development. The design is based on the standard Cargobox in combination with an internal isolation
blanket and gel packs. The blanket raw materials have been selected purely on optimization of the isolation characteristics.

The first test results indicate that, at an average ambient temperature of 30 °C, the content of the Cool Cargobox can be maintained between +2 and +8 °C during a period of at least 72 hours.

All further testing will be accomplished in close cooperation with the Bio University Wageningen (The Netherlands) and the results will be published during Q-IV, 2016.
In comparison with existing Temperature controlled air cargo containers (i.e. Envirotainer), the use of the Cool Cargobox will be offered at a fraction of the costs, including a full service package, with a printed actual temperature curve upon arrival.

The initial test report can be downloaded under: Information > Downloads
